Ten Lessons of 9/11
...that Republicans and Democrats Don't Want You to Learn

Republicans and Democrats want their power to increase, and they do that by stealing more money from us, taking our freedoms away, and making us rely on the government more. They use any pretext to do that, especially, and tragically, September 11. They claim the lessons are we have "too much freedom" and they take it away.

They are wrong.

Here are the real lessons of September 11, lessons that the two ruling parties don't want you to know.

1. The government cannot protect specific targets.
Regardless of how powerful a country is, there is no way to guarantee the protection of any target from attack. Even such targets as the White House and the President of the United States are not perfectly secure. It is certainly impossible to guarantee the protection of random targets, such as schools, malls, movie theaters, airports, train stations, etc.

2. Every inch of America’s borders must be sealed.
We are letting in millions of people through our backdoor and that will come back to haunt us. There should be no amnesty for illegals. This is a gaping security risk and a bad lesson to others if we reward those who cut in line.

3. America’s intervention in other countries breeds terrorists.
We have created our enemies. Our offensive military actions in foreign countries create the very terrorists we now call insurgents. Iraq is communist, pro-terrorist and anti-Israel. We should bring our troops home from Iraq by Independence Day, 2007.

4. Bring all troops home.
Don't keep military bases where we are not welcome by both the government and the people. Imagine if Iran had a military base in America, authorized and protected by our government. Patriotic Americans would fight back.

5. Foreign aid is blackmail.
Economic sanctions don't work. Oil-for-food programs don’t work. Every “negotiation” with a foreign country, especially those with nuclear capabilities, ends with us paying them off. Blackmail always escalates until violence eventually erupts. It rewards aggressive behavior against America. We should abolish all foreign government aid.

6. We should expel the U.N. from New York.
It is useless, expensive, and a security threat. It is a threat to our sovereignty. It is anti-American.

7. Money laundering is a myth.
September 11 was the result of nineteen men who purchased one-way tickets and box cutters. We should drop the financial records and disclosure regulations and repeal money laundering laws.

8. The Patriot Act is unpatriotic.
We should roll back all laws that encroach on our liberties. From the government’s point of view, we could all be very well protected if we would all wear straightjackets in padded cells. But the government doesn’t have the authority to take away our rights.

9. The Hitler theory is false.
The Hitler theory assumes there is one master mind behind terror, and if only he had been killed before he got too much power, all would have been safe. Saddam Hussein was captured and the fighting only increased. Al Qaeda’s chief in Iraq was killed and the fighting only increased. Furthermore, even if Hitler had been assassinated early, there is no guarantee an even worse tyrant wouldn’t have taken his place.

10. The Department of Homeland Security should be abolished.
It is a waste and an impediment to safety. They cannot secure our airports. They do nothing but cause lines and waiting, forcing more people to drive or take trains. The free market can best balance the level of security and convenience that people need, in supermarkets, taxis, train stations, and airplanes.

The defining feature of terrorism is not the deaths or injuries of the victim but the reaction of the unaffected civilians.

When evil men attack and kill, but we do not fear, that is mass murder, not terror.

It is only when they cause us fear and make us give up our freedom to our government that they accomplish their goal.
